#3794. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK

AIM VINEYARD SQUARE .'%ND ABUTTING 79.6 FEET ON MORE,'X DRIVE OWNED BY
BERRYLX HENWOOD AIM ADELE FXMVOOD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JE11FERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. That a, sidewalk of cement concrete material, Four feet
in width Three feet bock from face of curb, on the West side of
Moreau Drive between Fairmount Blvd. and Vineyard Square and abutting
79.6 feet on Moreau Drive owned by Berryman Henwaod and Adele Henwood
be constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a
copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove
described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passe.ge of thds Ordinance
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of th . \City Marshal a certified
COPY of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal erve or cause to be
served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned
by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by Leaving it w
with some member of his .family over the age of 15 years, making his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed
in the Office of the City Clerk.
SECTICN. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail to
construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of ;efferson,
under the power and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinances,
will construct said sidew-lk and will issue a special tax bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk,
which said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above
described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shell take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FCLLOWSa
SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Four feet
in width, Three feet back from ,face of curb, on the Vest side of
Moreau Drive between Fairmount Blvd, and Vineyard Square and abutting
65 feet on Moreau Drive owned by James A. Potter and Mena Proctor
Patter, be constructed and built within thirty days from the service of
a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove
described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a, certified
copy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to
be served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above
mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by
leaving it with some member of his family over the age of 15 years,
making his return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall
be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
