AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK OF CEMENT.' CONCRETE MATERIAL, FOUR FF.di;T IN WIDTH, THREE FEET BACK FROM FACE OF CURB, ON THE WEST SIDE OF MOREAU DRIVE BETWEEN FAIRMOUNT BLVD. AND VINEYARD SQUARE AND ABUTTING 205 FEET ON MORE AU DRIVE OWNED BY MRS. M. H. VINEYARD.Q, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWSt SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Four feet in width, Three feet back from face of curb on the West side of Moreau Drive between Fairmount Blvd. , and Vineyard Square and abutting 265 feet on Moreau Drive owned by Mrs.. M. H. Vineyard be constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of this C Ordinance, on the owner of the property hereinabove described. SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a, certified copy of this Ordinance, end said City Marshal shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the oviner or owners above mentioned by delivering a. copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over the age of 15 yeara,, making his return on another copy of siad Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION. 3 . In the event the owner or owners above named fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinances will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against said property for the coat of the construction of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill -will be a lien against the property above described. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNSIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWSt SECTION. . I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material Your feet in width, Five feet back from face of curb, on the East side of Moreau Drive between Lee Street and Atchison Streets, and abutting 50 feet in front of lot 10 block 3 Wagner Place, owned by Philmonia Schulte be constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
