SECTION. 3. In the event -the owner or owners above named fail to
construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson,
under the power and authority given it by its charter and Ordinances
will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk,
which said speci.:a.l tax bill will be a. lien against the property above
described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

OF CURB, ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ATCHISON STREET, BETWEEN T;IOREAU DRIVE
:AND DOCKERY STREETS, AND ABUTTING 100 FEET IN FROM OF LOTS 3 and 5
BLOCK 2 FERGUSON PLACE OydNED BY JEFFERSON CITY BUILDING & LOAN ASS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIME COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. That a sidevv)lk of cement concrete materail. Four feet
in width , 1/2 feet back from f^ce of curb, on the South side of
.1tchison Street, between Moreau Drive rind Dockery Streets, and abutting
100 feet in front of 15ts 3 and 5 Block 2 Ferguson Place, owned by
Jefferson City Building & Loan :"Iss. , be constructed ,1nd built within
thirty d7.ys from the service of a. copy of this Crdinrnce on the owner
of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the ho.nds of the City Marshal a certified
copy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause -to be
served a copy of this C.rdinance on the owner or owners above mentioned,
by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leabing it
with some member of his family over the age of 15 years, making his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed
to the office of the City Clerk.
