in width, Three feet back from face of curb, on the North side of
Atchison Street, between Yoreau Drive rand Dockery Streete, and abutting
134 feet 4 1/2 inches in front of lot 23 Rackerts Addition, owned by
James Walsh Estate, be constructed and built within thirty days from
the service of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the property
hereinabove described. ,
SECTICN. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Llarshal a, certified
copy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to
be served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned,
by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it
with some member of his family over the age of 15 years, making his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed
in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail to
construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson,
under the power and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinances,
will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which
said special tax bill will be a. lien against the property above
described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall 'take effect amd be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

# 3814 AN-: ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK OF
CEMENT CONCRETE MATERIAL, FOUR FEET IN WIDTH, 1.5 FEET BACK FROM FACE
OF CURB, ON THE EAST SIDE OF DUNKLIN STREET, BETWEEN MARSHALL AND
LAFAYETTE STREETS, AND ABUTTING 100 FEET IN FRONT OF INLDT 857 OWNED
BY HOME BUILDING & LOAN ASSN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Your
feet in width , 1.5 feet back from face of curb, on the -mast side of
Danklin Street, between'"16arshall and Lafayette Streets, and abutting
100 feet in front of Inlot 8579 owned by Home Building & Loan Assn. ,
be constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy
of this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
