3817. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION DF A SIDEWALK OF
CEMENT CONSRETE MATERIAL, FOUR FEET IN IVIDTH, THREE FEET BACK FROM
FACE OF CURB ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ATCHISON STREET To BETWEEN MOREAU DRIVE
AND DOCKERY STREETS, AND ABUTTING 140 FEIN ON ATCHISON STIU,,ET OWNED BY
JOHN W. DANEL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE,' CITY OF JEFI�'ERSON, AS FOLLOWS2
SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, four
feet in width, three feet back from face of curb, on the North side of
Atchison Street, between Moreau Drive and Dockery 0treets, and abutting
140 feet on Atchison Street owned by John W. Damel, be constructed and
built within thirty days from the service of a copy of this Ordinance
on the owner of' the property hereina.bove described.
SECTION. 2• Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance
the City Clerk shall place in -the hands of the City Marshall a certified
COPY of this Ordinance, and said City Marshall shall serve or cause to be
served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned
by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it
with some member of his family over the age of 15 years, making his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in
the office of the City clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail
to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson
under the power and authority given it by its charter and ordinances ,
will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which
said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above described.
SECTION. 4. Phis Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

OF CURB, ON THE EAST SIDE OF MOREAU DRIVE BETWEEN LEE STREET AND
ELMERINE STREETS, AND ABUTTING 50 FEET ON MOREAU DRIVE OWNED BY ImMOND
DROOP AND LILLIAN M. SHOOP.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE, COUNCIL OF THI; CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS
SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, four
feet in width, five feet back from face of curb, on the -past side of
Yoreau Drive, between Lee Street and Elmerine Streets , and abutting 50
feet on Moreau Drive owned by Raymond Shoop and Lillian M. Shoop be
constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of
this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a Certified
COPY of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to be
