HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD03824 SECTION. 2. 1Nithin two days after the passage of this Urdinance the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the Sity Marshal a certified oopy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over the age of 15 years, making his return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office of the Uity Olerk. SECTION.- 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the Uity of Jefferson under the power and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above described. AN- ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK OF CEMENT CONCRE.T7E, MATERIAL, 3 1/2 FEET IN WIDTH TWO FEET BACK FROM FACE OF CURB, ON THE WEST SIDE OF BERRY STREET, BETWEEN HIGH AND MCCARTY STREETS, AND ABUTTING 100 FEET IN PRO14T OF LOT I BLOCK 7 LOWER JEFFERSON OWNED BY HENRY AND L.IZZIE BURBACH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIE,,' CITY OF JEF1-ERSON9 AS FOLLOWSs SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, 3 1/2 feet in width, two feet back from face of curb, on the West Bide of Berry Street, between High and McCarty Streets , and abutting 100 feet in front of lot 1 Block 7 Lower Jefferson, owned by Henry and Lizzie Burbach be constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of this Urdinance on the owner-.of the property hereinabove described.
