AND ABUTTING 80 FEET IN FRONT OF LOT 16 BLOCK 7 LOWER JEFFERSON

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, 3 1/2
feet in width two feet back from face of curb, on the west side of
Berry '-treet, between High and McCarty Streets, and abutting 80 feet
in front of lot 16 block 7 Lower Jefferson, owned by Fred U. geed and
Mathilda E. Reed be constructed and built within thirty days from the
service of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the property
hereinabove described.
SECTION: 2. Within two days after the passage of this urdinanee
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the Uity Marshal a certified
copy of this urdinanee, and said 1,ity Marshal shall serve or cause to
be served a copy of this "rdinance on the owner or owners above
mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by
leaving it with some member of his family oiler the age of 15 years,
making his return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall
be filed in the office of the Uity Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail
to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the Uity of Jefferson
under the power and authority given it by its Charter and Urdinances ,
will Construct said sidewalk Pnd will issue a special tax bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which
said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above described.
SECTION. 4. 'his Ordinance shall take effect rnd be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

3826. AN- ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK OF
CEIIENT CONCRETE 1%TERIAL, 3 1/2 FEET IN WIDTH, TWO FEET BACK FROM FACE
OF CURB, ON THE West side of Berry Otreet, between High and McCarty
Streets, and abutting 7299" in front of lot 16 Block 7 Lower Jefferson
owned by Herman Schroer. Sidewalk to start at the North curb line on
McCarty Street.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, FS FOLLOWS:

Berry Street, between High and McCarty Streets, nd abutting 7299" in
front of lot 16 Block 7 Lower Jefferson, owned by Herman Schroer,
Sidewalk to start at the North curb line on McCarty Street, be constructed
and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of this ordinance
on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
