AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK OF CEMENT CONCRETE 39ATERIALo FOUR FEET IN WIDTH, TWO FEET. BACK FROM FACE OF CURB, ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MAIN STREET BETWEEN VISTA ROAD AND BOONVILLE ROAD, AND ABUTTING 90 FEET ON MAIN STREET LOTS 3 AND 4 BLOCK A. WALINKO PLACE OWNED BY S. W. JAMES JR. AND GEORGIA FOWLER JAMES. CONSTRUCT SIDEWALK TO CONFORM WITH PRESENT CURB GRADE. BE IT ORDAI10D BY THE COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWSS SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material Your feet in width, Two feet back from face of curb, on the North side of Main Street, between Vista Road and Boonville Read, .and abutting 90 feet on stain Street® lots 3 and 4 Block A. Walinko Place, owned by S. W. James Jr. And Georgia Fowler James, (construct sidewalk to conform with present curb grade) be- constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of this Urdinanee on the owner of the property hereinabove described. SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance the City Clerk shall place in the hands ofthe City Marshal a certified copy of this Ordinancep and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or ownasa above mentioned by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over the age of 15 years making his return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail to construct said sidewalk as above described, then the City of Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special, tax bill against 6aid property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above described. WMORE Construct sidewalk to conform with present curb grade. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON9 AS FOLLOWS= SECTION. I.
