HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD03837 203 the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a certified copy of this Ordinances and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over the age of 15 years making his return on another copy of said Ordinance, which o6py shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION. 3e in the event the owner or owners above named fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson under the y0wer and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinaneeso will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above described. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK OF CEMENT CONCRETE MATERIAL, FOUR FEET IN WIDTH, TWO FEET BACK FROM FACE OF CURB, ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MAIN STREET, BETWEEN VISTA ROAD AND BOONVILLE ROAD, AND ABUTTING 50 FEET IN FRONT OF LOT I BLOCK A WALINKO PLACE OWNED BY CAPITAL BRICK COMPANY (EARL F. SCHAFFNER) . Construct sidewalk to conform with present curls grade. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFITERSON, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Your feet in width, Two feet back from face of curb, on the North side of Maim Street, between Vista Road and Boonville Road, and abutting 50 feet in front of lot I Block .A Walinko Place Owned by Capital Brick Company (EARL F. SCHAFFIaER) (Construct sidewalk to conform with present curb grade) be constructed and built within .thirty days from the service of a copy of this 0 rdinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
