SECTION. I. That a sidevl lk of cement concrete material, Your
feet in width , two feet bn,ck from face of curb , on the 'outh side of
ANk Main Street, between Vista Road and Boonville Road, and abutting 50
feet in front of lot 7 Jordants Oubdivision, owned by H. G. Dallas and
Gertrude Da.11a.s , (Construct sidewalk to conform with present curb grade)
be constructed built within thirty days from the service of a. copy
of theis Ordinance on the Owner of the property hereinabove described.
SECTICTI. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance
the City ''lerk shall place in the hands ofthe City 1'arsha,l a. certified
copy of this Ordinance, and s.a.id City I,Ta.rsh:a.l shall serve or cause to be
served a copy of this Ordinance on the o,riner or owners above mentioned
by delivering a, copy hereof to said owner or owners or by le,-a.ving it
with some Member of his family over the age of 15 yen.rs, making his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in
the office of th*e City Clerk.
SECTICN. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail
to construct said sidewalk n,s above directed, then the City of �'efferson
under the power and authority given it by its Charter and urdinAnces,
will construct said sidewalk and will. issue specia.l tax bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which
said speci.y.l tax bill will be lien ngainst LT:c; -,-ror•erty ,.bove
described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance :shall take efff!ct and be in force
from a.nd after its passage and approval.
