SECTION. 3. I n the event the owner or owners above named fail
to construct said sidetiva.lk as above directed, then the City of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its Charter and
Ordinances , will construct said siderrr?lk and will issue a special tax
bill against said property for the cost of the construction of said
sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien against the
property above described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

CEMENT CONCRE17E MATERIAL, FOUR FEET IN WIDTH, TWO FEET BACK FROM' FACE
OF CURB, ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF MAIN STREE-T, BETWEEN VISTA ROAD AND
BOONVILLE ROAD, AND ABUTTING 157.5 FEET IN FRONT OF LOTS 1-3 kND 5
JORDAN'S SUBDIVISION OWNED BY CARL F. WYMORE. (construct sidewalk to
conform with present curb grade) .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWSs
SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Four
feet in width, Two feet back from race of curb, on the Mouth side of
Main Strect, between Vista Road and Boonville Road, and abutting 157.5
feet in front of lots 1-3 and 5 Jordan's 8ubdiviaion owned b Carl F.
Wymore, (Construct sidewalk to conform with present curb grade be
constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a. copy
of this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance
the City Clerk shall-place in the hands of the City Marshal a certified
copy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or vause to
be served a• copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned
by delivering a, copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leatring it
with some member of his family over the age of 15 years, making his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed
in lbhe office of the City Clerk.
