in front of Inlot 35 owned by Jos. L. Goetz, be constructed and built
within thirty days from the service of P. copy of this Ordinance on
,the owner of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance
the City Clerk sh,-,.11 place in the hands of the City Marshal a. certified
col3y of this Ordinance, , -nd sndd City Marshal shall serve or cause to
bes-erved a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned
by delivering a. copy hereof to said Owner or owners or by leaving it w
with some member of his faz.ily over the age of 15 years, making his
return on another cop , of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in
the office of the City Clerk.

SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail
to construct said sidew,-!!.lk as above directedp then the City of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its Charter and
Ordinances, will construct said sideiialk and will issue a special tax
bill against said property for the cost of the construettion ofsaid
sidei,ialk, which said special tax bill will be a lien against the
property above described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
