• ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 1997 -21 (PERSONNEL POLICY)
WHEREAS, The City of Greencastle, adopted and created a
Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual by Ordinance 1997 -21, on
November 12, 1997; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Greencastle
desires to make changes and corrections to the personnel policy.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED that the City of Greencastle,
Indiana Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual is amended as
follows:
Section: 2:9 is hereby deleted from the Personnel Policy.
Section: 2:8 K. is amended to add "holidays" in the last sentence
after personal days. It shall now read: "Benefit hours
(vacation, sick days, comp time, personal days and holidays)
are not considered time worked for computing overtime." All
other provisions in Section 2:8 K. are to remain in full
force and effect, unchanged.
Section 4:3 D. is amended to read as follows:

No one, except a Department
Head,
may
clock anyone
other
than himself /herself in or
out at
any
time.
Section 4:7 A. is amended to change "$.26 per mile" to "the
Putnam County rate per mile." All other provisions in
Section 4:7 A. are to remain in full force and effect,
unchanged.
® Section 2:4 H. the definition of immediate family is amended to
read as follows: "Immediate family for this policy includes:
Spouse Children Step - Children Mother
Father Brother Sister Aunt
Uncle Son -in -Law Daughter -in -Law Grandparents
• Mother -in -Law Father -in -Law Grandchild Brother -in -Law
Sister -in -Law "
"Full time" is added after New and before employees. All
other provisions in Section 2:4 H. are to remain in full
force and effect, unchanged.
Section 3:17 3. C. the definition of immediate family is amended
to read as follows: "Immediate family for this policy
includes:
Spouse
Children
Step- Children
Mother
Father
Brother
Sister
Aunt
Uncle
Son -in -Law
Daughter -in -Law
Grandparents
Mother -in -Law
Father -in -Law
Grandchild
Brother -in -Law
Sister -in -Law"
All other provisions in Section 3:17 3.C. are to remain in
full force and effect, unchanged.
is BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City
of Greencastle, Indiana, that Ordinance 1997 -21 is hereby amended
as set forth above.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, this day of 1998.
