# 3886. AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF ELM STRE3,1 BETWEEX ADAMS
STREET AND JACKSON STREET.
WHEREAS'. that portion of Elm Street lying between Adams 6treet and
Jaekeon"Street is not improved, has never been opened up as a public
thoroughfare, and,
WHEREAS, the Council deems it improbable that that portion' of Elm
Street hereinbefore described will ever be available as a practical
matter for public use, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON AS FOLLOWSs
" SECTION. 1 'That the Council hereby vacates that portion of Elm
Street -lying between -Adams 'street'and Jackson Street as a public
th'o"r'oughfare and 'directs- and authorizes the Mayor of the City of
Jefferson 't6- execute, when so requested, proper deeds conveying the
land eomprieing'said Street. which is hereby vacated, to the abutting
property. owners.
SECTION. 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and apprbval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWSSs
SECTION. I. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the
City Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying
Accounts. and Claims, the followings
