FOREST PLACE AND ABUTTING 50 FEET ON MAIN STRE? T OWNED BY MARTHA THOMAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I . "That a sidewalk of cement concrete mat,;rial, Four
feet in 'width',' Two 'feet back' from face of curb, on the South side of
Main Street between Jordan Street and Forest Place and "abutting 50 feet
on Main Street owned by Martha Thomas, be constructed and built within
thirty days from the service of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner
of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a certified
copy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to
be 'served' a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above
mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by
leaving it with some member of his family over the age of 15 years,
making his return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall
be filed in the office of the City lilerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail to
construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of deff erson,
under the power and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinances,
will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said s'idewa.lk, which
said special tax bill. will be a lien against the property above described .
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material Four
feet in width, Two feet back from face of curb, on the North side of
Main Street, between West Circle Drive and Boonville Road and abutting
185 feet on Alain Street owned by Edwin ta. Vogt, be constructed and built
within thirty days from the service of a copy of this Ordinance on the
owner of the property hereinabove* described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this `ordinance,
