OF CURB, ON THE EAST SIDE OF CHERRY STREET BETVMEN MCCARTY AND MILLER
STREETS AND ABUTTING 120 FEET ON CHERRY STREET OWNED BY CITY NATIONAL
BUILDING AND ZOAN ASSN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JNF]-`ERSON, AS FOLLOWSs
SECTION. . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material Your feet in

width Your feet back from face of curb, on the East side of Cherry Street
between .McCarty and Miller Streets, and abutting 120 feet on Oherry
Street,, owned by City National Building and Loan Ass°n be constructed
and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of this Ordinance
on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
Section. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a certified
copy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to be
served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned,
by delivering a. copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it with
some member of his family over the age of 15 years, making his return on
another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office
of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail to
construct said sidewalk as above dir.ectedv then the City of Jefferson,
under the power and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinances,
will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which
said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above 'desctibed
