of Jefferson, Missouri, be and is hereby established as follower
Beginning at the east curb line on Bolivar Street in the canter of the
alley where the elevation of the grade is, 132.841 thence 10 feet where
the elevation of the grade shall be 132.84; thence 15 feet where the
elevation of the grade shall be, 132.51; thence 15 feet where the
elevation of the grade shall be,131.531 thence 35 feet on a uniform grade
Where the elevation of the grade shall be, 128.48; thence 25 feet where
elevation of grade shall be 126.64: thence 15 feet where the elevation
of the grade shall be, 125.83; thence 35 feet where the elevation of
the grade shall be 124.87; thence 5 feet where the elevation of the grade
shall be, 124*84t thence 295 feet on a uniform grade where the elevation
of the grade shall be, 123.70.
SECTION. 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION. '3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval*

#5913. AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF THE ALLY
IN THE BLOCK BETWEEN JEFFERSON, WASHINGTON, DUNKLIN AND ELM STREETS IN
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI
AS FOLLOWS s
SECTION. I. That the grade line of the roadway of the alley in the
block between Jefferson, Washington,Dubklin and Elm Street in the City
of J.efferaon, Missouri, be and is hereby established as followst Beginning
at the'Center line of said alley and the West curb line of Jefferson
Street, where the elevation of the grade is 135.90; thence on a uniform
grade along the eenter line of said alley for a distance of 275 feet,
where the elevation of the grade shall be, 137.11; thence 75 feet on a
vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 139.54; thence
75 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be
146.18, thence 15 feet on a uniform grade where the elevation of the grade
shall be 147.93; thence 10 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation
of the grade shall be 148.81; thence 10 feet on a vertical curve where
the elevation of the grade shall be. 149.10: thence 4 feet where the
elevation of the grade is 149.00.
SECTION. 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
thin; Ordinance are herby repealed.
SECTION. 3. This rdinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

#3914. AN ORDINANCE CONTRACTING WITH JOSEPH POPE FOR THE JVRECKING,
REMOVAL AND RECONSTRUCTION OF PUMP HOUSE AND EQUIPMENT IN FOREST HILL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION, I. Joseph Pope having submitted the lowest and best bid
for the wrecking and removal of the pump house in Forest Hill, being a
part of Sewer District Number Fifty-five, and having submitted plans and
specifications for said work, and a certified check for One Hundred
Dollars to guarantee acceptance of a contract in accordance with such
proposal, it is therefore ordered that Joseph Pope be awarded the contract
