SECTION 1. It is hereby declared unlawful for any person to park
or stand ,,lny vehicle on the south side of McCarty Street for a distance

SECTICN 2. The street conmiissioner shall, immediately upon the

S="CTION 1 . That the City Council hereby finds and declares that
Aft it is necessary. to rep- ir,. surface nd resurf^ce at a. cost not exceeding
sixty (0.60) cents per front foot, the following; described streets:
Boonville Road from the center of the intersection of Main Street
rind Boonville hoed, to the center cf the intersection of the Boonville
Road and the north city limits , and Hasselton Drive from the center of the
intersection of Hasselton Drive and the Boonville Road, to the center of the
intersection of Hasselton Drive and East Circle Drive, all of said im-
provements to be within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing,
surf.z.cing -nd. resurf_cing District Number One (1) of the City of Jeffersont
Yissouri, qnd all of said work to be done according to the plans and
s-lecifica tuns of the said Oity of Jefferson , Mo.
SECTION 2. The City Council finds and declares it is advisable
and to the best interests of the owners of property to be charged with
the cost of said work; that the said work shall be done by the City with-
out letting n contract therefor_;, and that the Street Commissioner is hereby
dieected to purchase the necessary materials add employ the necessary labor
for the performance of said work, and shall superintend the same and keep
all accounts and an accurate account of the cost thereof .
SECTION 3 . The cost of such repairing, surfacing ,-nd resurfacing shall
be defrayed by a special tax, to be assessed in favor of the City of Jefferson
Missouri, on the adjoining property fronting or bordering on the street where
such work is done, in proportion that the linear feet of each lot fronting
or bordering; t ereon bears to the total number of linear feet of all
property charge,nble with the tax aforesaid, in the territory embr,--ced within
this ordinance, . Specinl tax bills shall be issued, evidencing such assess-
ment, and shall become liens on said property, and shall be issued and enforce
as provided by law.
