3946 AN ORDINANCE TC APPROPRIATE MCN)TY-
BE IT CRDAINRD BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE, CITY CF JI:PPERSCN, AS FOLLCVISs
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the general
revenue fund the sum of Five Hundred Twenty-Two and Fifteen one
hundredths( $522P15) Dollars for the payment of compromise settlement
e..nd; costs in .the, case of W., W. Smith vs: City. of ,Jefferson, Missouri ,
now pending in the circuit court of Boone County, Missouri.
SECTION 2. Upon the filing of a release and waiver of all
damages -or'-future damages growing out of the alleged actions of the
City of J efferson in said petition set forth, the City Clerk is
directed, to draw a. warrant in the sum of Dive Hundred Dollars payable
to the said W. W. Smith, and to deliver the same to him or his attorney
of record J. D. Purteet. Said city clerk is further directed to draw
wa.rra.nt in the sum cf Twenty-Two dollars and fifteen cents payable to
the Circuit Clerk of Boone County, IVLIssouri, as payment of the accured
costs in the case aforesaid.
SECTION 3. The release aforesaid shall, when approved by the City
Attorney, be filed with the City Clerk.
