AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 1995 -4
(AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A TREE BOARD AND
REGULATING TREES ALONG PUBLIC WAYS)
BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, that
Ordinance 1995-4 is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2. - CREATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A CITY TREE BOARD
There is hereby created and established a City Tree Board under the direction of the Greencastle
City Council for the City of Greencastle which shall consist of five (5) members, of which at least
three (3) of whom shall be citizens and residents of the city. With the approval of the City Council.
three (3) mayoral appointments shall be made. The Greencastle Street Department Commissioner
and a member of the City Council shall be the remaining two (2) members of the Tree Board. Any
application for permit or approval from the Tree Board shall be directed to the Office of the City
Clerk- Treasurer.

BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, that
Ordinance 1995 -4 is hereby amended with changes to Section ? only and that all other Sections of the
Ordinance shall remain in full effect.
