UEZ MARKETING PROJECT

HERE AS, the Borough of Carteret UEZ Program desires to apply for and obtain a
ant fiom the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs for approximately
50,000 to promote the business environment and events and to maximize private sector
iestments in the Downtown and PAC District.
IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the Borough of Carteret does hereby authorize
application for such a grant; and, recognizes and accepts that the Department may
,r a lesser or greater amount and therefore, upon receipt of the grant agreement for the
v Jersey Department of Community Affairs, does further authorized the execution of
such grant agreement; and also, upon receipt of the fully executed agreement from
Department, does further authorize the expenditure of funds pursuant to the terms of
agreement between the Borough of Carteret UEZ Program and the New Jersey
airtment of Community Affairs; and
IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the persons whose names, titles and signatures
!ar below are authorized to sign the application, and that they or their successors in
titles are authorized to sign the agreement and any other documents necessary in
section therewith. --
