A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIYT
• OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE
NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES TO BE PLACED ON THE
BALLOT FOR THE TARRANT APPRAISAL DISTRICT
BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION.
WHEREAS, terms of service of the five (5) members of the Board of Directors of
the Tarrant Appraisal district are due to expire on December 31, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the deadline to submit nominations to the Chief Appraiser of the
Tarrant Appraisal District are due to expire is October 14, 2005; and
WHEREAS, all eligible nominations submitted to the Chief Appraiser shall be
placed on the ballot for the Tarrant Appraisal District Board of Directors Election; and
WHEREAS, based on the amount of the 2004 adjusted tax levy imposed by
each eligible taxing unit, the Tarrant Appraisal District has calculated the number of
votes allocated to each entity; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richland Hills was allocated four (4) for each of the five
(5) positions to be filled;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas does hereby
nominate the following individual(s) to be placed on the ballot for the election of
members to the Board of Directors of the Tarrant Appraisal District:

SECTION 2. A copy of this resolution shall be provided to the Chief Appraiser
of the Tarrant Appraisal District by October 14, 2005.
PRESENTED, PASSED AND APPROVED on this the 11th day of October 2005,
by a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions, at a regular meeting of the City Council
