A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS
APPROVING SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO NCTCOG FOR
FUNDING OF THE BAKER BOULEVARD (STATE HIGHWAY 183)
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR NOTICE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Baker Boulevard is a key arterial within the City, and is in need of
reconstruction and revitalization; and
WHEREAS, the North Central Texas Council of Governments ("NCTCOG") is currently
accepting applications for grants for road reconstruction projects in the area served by the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
ORDER
The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager, City Secretary and City
staff to submit application to NCTCOG for funding of the Baker Boulevard (State Highway 183)
• reconstruction project.
SECTION 2.
AUTHORIZATION OF NECESSARY ACTIONS
The City Manager and the City Secretary, in consultation with the City Attorney, are
authorized and directed to take all actions necessary to effectuate this resolution.
SECTION 3.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This Resolution shall be effective upon its adoption.
