A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, AND
RATIFYING THE MAYOR'S AND CITY MANAGER'S SIGNATURE OF
SUCH DOCUMENTS, PROVIDING FOR NOTICE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously determined that it is in the best interests of the
City to purchase certain real property currently owned by Edward and Eileen Nycz specifically, the
following real estate situated in the City of Richland Hills, in Tarrant County, Texas:
The land commonly known as 6724 Baker Boulevard and 3280 Diana Drive, and
more fully described as Lots 2A and 2B, of Block 2 of the Matthews Subdivision,
located in the A. S. Trimble Survey, together with all improvements, fixtures and
other personal property attached to the land, together with, all and singular, all
improvements thereon and all rights and appurtenances pertaining thereto, including
any right, title and interest of Seller in and to adjacent streets, alleys orright-of--way,
including all fixtures and articles of personal property attached to said real estate and
owned by Seller;
• and
WHEREAS, on April 26, 2005, the City Council approved an agreement to purchase such
property for the sum of $240,000.00, and authorized the City Manager and Mayor to execute a
contract for the purchase of same; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Council's direction, the City Manager and City Attorney
prepared a contract in accordance with the Council's direction, and the City Manager executed that
contract on behalf of the City; and
WHEREAS, all prerequisites and conditions to closing the purchase have been met to the
City Council's satisfaction and in accordance with the contract;

• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
ORDER
The City Council hereby orders that the City Manager and Mayor are authorized to complete
the purchase of the above-referenced property, and to execute and record all necessary documents
and make all payments provided in the previously approved contract for the purchase of such
property, and ratifies all such actions heretofore performed on behalf of the City.
SECTION 2.
NOTICE
Upon adoption of this Resolution, the City Secretary is directed to give notice of this
resolution in the manner required bylaw.
SECTION 3.
AUTHORIZATION OF NECESSARY ACTIONS
• The Mayor and the City Secretary, in consultation with the City Attorney, are authorized and
directed to take all actions necessary to effectuate this resolution.
SECTION 4.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This Resolution shall be effective upon its adoption.
