AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA AMENDING SECTION
4264 OF THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE TO
PROHIBIT THE SALE OF NEWSPAPERS OR MAGAZINES
FROM THE ROADWAY OR ANY PORTION OF ANY PUBLIC
HIGHWAY OR STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Municipal Code of the City of Temple
City is hereby amended by rewording Section 4264 to read as
follows:
"4264. It is unlawful to sell newspapers or
magazines from the roadway or any portion
of any public highway or street."
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Temple City at a regular meeting thereof held on the26th day
of March , 1962, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen-Buchan, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell,
Dickason
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen-None

regular meeting of the City Council held on March 12, 1962, and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on March 26,
1962, by the following roll call vote;
