HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinance 62-70ORDINANCE NO. 6 2 - 70 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA AMENDING SECTION 4264 OF THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROHIBIT THE SALE OF NEWSPAPERS OR MAGAZINES FROM THE ROADWAY OR ANY PORTION OF ANY PUBLIC HIGHWAY OR STREET. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Municipal Code of the City of Temple City is hereby amended by rewording Section 4264 to read as follows: "4264. It is unlawful to sell newspapers or magazines from the roadway or any portion of any public highway or street." PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting thereof held on the26th day of March , 1962, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen-Buchan, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Tyrell, Dickason NOES: Councilmen -None ABSENT: Councilmen-None ATTEST: Clerk of the City of Te City, California STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES ) ss CITY OF TEMPLE CITY Mayor of the City of Temple City, California 1, Marjorie A.
