A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS
CITY COUNCIL ENDORSING THE PROPOSED TARRANT
COUNTY BOND PROGRAM AND URGING ALL CITIZENS TO
APPROVE THE PROGRAM AT THE MAY 2006 ELECTION.
WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court of Tarrant County is developing a
bond program to provide needed new facilities and transportation improvements
for the citizens of Tarrant County; and
WHEREAS, Tarrant County is one of the fastest growing urban counties in
Texas and the United States; and
WHEREAS, current and future growth drive the need for new county facilities
and transportation improvements to serve the citizens of Tarrant County; and
WHEREAS, Tarrant County officials and Citizen volunteers have worked
diligently and conscientiously over the last year to identify the most appropriate
components of the proposed bond program.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Richland Hills, Texas, Tarrant County, endorsed the proposed Tarrant County Bond
Program and urges citizens to approve the Program at the May 2006 election.
PRESENTED AND PASSED on this 25T" day of April 2006, by a vote of 4
ayes, 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Richland Hills,
