REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $20,000 TO THE
2022 BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FROM THE ARPA 2021
NEW JERSEY PUBLIC LIBRARIES GRANT
WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4 -87 provides that the Director of Local Government Services
may approve the insertion of any special item of revenue in the budget of any
municipality when such item shall have been made available by law and the amount
thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the budget; and
WHEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any item of appropriation
for equal amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret hereby
requests the Director of the Division of Local Government Services to approve the
insertion of an item of revenue in the budget of the year 2022 in the sum of $20,000
which item is now available as a revenue from the ARPA 2021 NEW JERSEY PUBLIC
LIBRARIES GRANT
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVE I) that a like sum of $20,000 be and the same is hereby
appropriated under the caption of.
ARPA-CH 159 GRANT FINAL LIBRARY 2022
Adopted this 7th day of April, 2022
and certified as a hue copy of the
original on April 8, 2022.
