Minutes:
A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the December 10, 1997
meeting and upon vote it passed unanimously.
The Chair noted that the meeting scheduled for January 14, 1998 was not held because
of a lack of a quorum.
New Business:
The committee members were introduced to City Manager Brain Olson. Mr. Olson
reported that he was reviewing the city's financial picture and noted the areas of
concern. He discussed some areas that he was reviewing to see where revenues could
be increased. He reviewed the process that would be used to hire a course
superintendent. Mr. Olson noted that he planned to change the organizational structure
and have the Restaurant Manager, Golf Pro, and Course Superintendent report to him.
Old Business:
The committee reviewed each item on the "Priority List" 4 pages, which is attached. This
list was developed by the staff in response to the committee's request on how the staff
felt we should proceed to accomplish the items on the four project lists dated 9/4/97
which are attached. The project lists were developed by the committee and staff from on
site review of each nine holes: Cedar, Birch, & Aspen, and the clubhouse. The items on
the project lists were prioritized by the members and staff as shown. The agreed upon
additions or deletions are noted in pen on the attached list.
Adjournment:
The chair adjourned the meeting at about 9:00 p.m. and noted that the next meeting is
scheduled for March 11, 1998 a 5:30 p.m.

Cart Paths are a contigual weekly patching with road mix !ypically done on

Low spot has been filled in and with new watedng capabilities this tee will
stay dryer. Also if needed thinning of trees will give the tee more sun light.
Needs more frequent fertility because of sand base and more help from
season pass holders and public to use sand and seed buckets.
Planned for removal in spdng of 98 in conjunction with Projs. on Cedar.
To be paid for by Timbedost Homeowners. Grounds crew has cleaned up
and fixed drainage.

Tree removal/thinning will help this tee get more sunlight.

15- The front left and back dght of this green will have some drainage work
done this spdng so that we can get most of the problem areas.
16- Mike will work on getting a dght of way approval this Winter for a water line
to come through neighboring houses. We would hope to get a line in the
ground this spdng.
17- Rope and stake these pull out areas and resod will clean up these spots.
This will be a slow process.
18- Some sort of a curb needs to be installed Mike is trying to find something
that is aesthetically pleasing and inexpensive.
19- Keep it cleaner it is a good hazard to have.
20- Some work was done on the dght side this fall. We will look at possibly
draining towards Ddving Range ditch to hopefully fix remaining problems,
This will be a fall of 98 Proj.
21- This tee will need the sod stdpped and then leveled and sod replaced. Fall

ASPEN
PROJECT#
2- Cart Paths are a continual weekly patching with. road mix typically done on

bank. We will try to complete this in the fall.

in place.
CLUB HOUSE

3- Needs done at least twice a day during the busy season. Mike will have one
of his crew members take care of flower beds and barrels, grass areas and
any debris on those areas. Cad and Mary will have someone to police the
area in the day covedng all other areas around the Club House.

6- Mike will bdng the pressure washer down in the spdng after he removes his
equipment from there and clean the concrete. Also Mike told Mary she can
use the storage shed across the street from the maintenance shop to keep
her BBQ's and any tables she needs to store.

8- This will be done when the temperatures are warm enough for the paint to
adhere to the metal posts.
9- Mike will repair in spdng. His crew built a box to lift with the forks on the
tractor to get them close to the roof with use of a ladder.
10- Cad and Mary said, that they have the carpet cleaned 2-3 weeks pdor to
opening.
11- Cad said, he has cleaned the filters down stairs.
12- Cad got a new one and we will attempt to straighten the old one.
13- Mary is going to remove and put in a new one.
14- This requires warmer temperatures to repair. Mike has some concrete patch
that he will try in late spdng when it is warmer.

18- This is a costly project it will have to budgeted in the future

21- Mike and Randy will fix this after it snows and we are done working on the
golf course.

carts off the top of the lockers.
