HomeMy Public PortalAbout10-14-2013 COW Minutes Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop of the President and the Board of Trustees Held on October 14, 2013 In the Boardroom Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:0 4 p.m. Present were: Trustee Bonuchi, Trustee Fay, Trustee Lamb, Trustee Peck, and Trustee Rippy. Board absent: Trustee Racich. Others present: Brian Murphy, Administrator; Michelle Gibas, Village Clerk; Allen Persons, Public Works Director; Dean Mar quez, Building Supervisor; Traci Pleckham, Management Services Director; and John Konopek, Chief of Police. There were 4 person s in the audience. Trustee Fay moved to approve the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop held on September 23 , 201 3. Seconded by Trustee Lamb . Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 Opposed. PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS None. TRUSTEES COMMENTS Trustee Fay requested a future discussion regarding temporary signage. PUBLIC COMMENTS None WORKSHOP #1 STREET DEPARTMENT PRESENTATION Mr . Allen Persons gave a presentation regarding the 2014 -2015 budget planning and organization analysis. Mr. Persons reviewed future recommendations for the department including personnel and equipment. Trustee Lamb pointed out that a wood chipper is a pri ority and suggested investing in another one now. Mayor Collins thanked the staff for the presentation and read the reminders. Trustee Fay moved to adjourn. Seconded by Trustee Peck . Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 Opposed. The meeting adjourned at 8:02 p.m. Michelle Gibas, Village Clerk
