AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY PROHIBITING THE USE
OF THE OFFICIAL CITY SEAL, OTHER SEALS,
EMBLEMS OR EMBLEM SEALS USED BY THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, FOR OTHER THAN OFFICIAL
CITY USE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Municipal.Code of the City of Temple City 1
hereby amended by adding thereto Sections 1327, 1328, and 1329, which'
Sections shall read as follows:
"1327. OFFICIAL CITY SEAL. The official City Seal of the
City of Temple City, shall be in the form of a die two inches in dia-
meter; the form of the die shall be two circles, one inside the other.
Within the smaller circle shall be imprinted the words "Incorporated
May 25, 1960, within the larger circle and outside the limits of the
inner circle shall be imprinted the words "City of Temple City, Calif-
ornia." The imprint of the seals shall be as appears below:
"1328. OTHER CITY SEALS, EMBLEMS OR EMBLEM SEALS. The City
may adopt from time to time by Resolution City Seals, Emblems or Em-
blem Seals to be used on stationery, police, fire and other official
vehicles and other equipment and property of the City and for such
other purposes as the City Council may determine.
"1329. It shall be unlawful for any person, corporation,
partnership or other entity to use the Official City Seal, or to use
any other seals, emblems or emblem seals adopted pursuant to Section
1328 of this Code, or to reproduce, copy or create any reasonable vac -
simile of any City Seal, emblem or emblem seals adopted pursuant to
Section 1328 of this Code, without the express consent of the City`
Council of the City of Temple City given by a duly adopted resolution
of the City Council."
SECTION 2. Resolution 60 -8 is hereby repealed in its en-
tirety.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Temple
City at a regular meeting thereof held this 14th day of May , 1962
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dickason, Fitzjohn, Nunamaker, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -Merfl tt

and that the foregoing Ordinance No. 62 -72 was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on April 23, 1962, and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on May 14,
1962, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Fitzjohn, Nunamaker, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen - Merritt
