ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $3,000,000 FOR VARIOUS ROAD
IMPROVEMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO DR. BISHOP
WILLARD K. ANDREWS PARK IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGII COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, IN THE
COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Borough of Carteret, in the Comity of Middlesex, New Jersey (tire
"Borough") hereby appropriates the amount of $3,000,000, including $300,000 f oni the Capital Fund-
Fund Balance and $2,700,000 from the Capital Fund - Capital Improvement Fund, to provide for various
road improvements, and improvements to Dr. Bishop Willard K. Andrews Park, including all related costs
and expenditures incidental thereto, and further including all work and materials necessary therefor and
incidental thereto.
Section 2. The Borough hereby certifies that it has adopted a capital budget or a temporary
capital budget, as applicable. The capital or temporary capital budget of the Borough is hereby amended to
conform with the provisions of this ordinance to the extent of any inconsistency herewith. To the extent
that the purposes authorized herein are inconsistent with the adopted capital or temporary capital budget, a
revised capital or temporary capital budget has been filed with the Division of Local Government Services,
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect as provided by applicable law.
