AN ORD:IMANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, OF INTENTION TO
PROCEED UNDER ARTICLE 5, TITLE 5, DIVISION 1
OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE (PUBLIC SERVICE EASE-
MENTS VACATION LAW -- GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS
50430 ET SEQ.) TO VACATE EASEMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City,
California hereby declares its intention to proceed to vacate cer-
tain easements hereinafter described in Section 3 pursuant to Ar-
ticle 5, Title 5, Division 1 of the Government Code (Public Service
Easements Vacation Law) (Government Code Sections 50430 Et Seq.)
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Temple City
hereby declares its intention to vacate certain easements herein-
after fully described in Section 3.
SECTION 3. The easements to be vacated are described
as follows:
(1) That certain light and air easement on Lot 8
Block B of Tract 11695, as said light and air easement is shown on
Tract Map 11695 which Tract Map 11695 is recorded in Book 215,
Pages 23 and 24 of Maps, Official Records of Los Angeles County.
(2) That certain light and air easement in the souther-
ly 57 feet of Lot 35 of Tract 10558 as said light and air easement
is shown on Tract Map 10558, which Tract Map 10558 is recorded in
Book 178, pages 4 and 5, in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County.
SECTION 4. The light and air easements described in
Section 3 are shown on those certain Tract Maps Nos. 11695 and
10558 on file with the City Clerk of the City of Temole City lo-
cated in the City Hall of the City of Temple City at 9664 East Las
Tunas Drive, Temple City, California.
SECTION 5. The time and place for hearing all persons
interested in the proposed vacation will be at a Public hearing to
be held on August 13, 1962 at 7:30 P.M. in the City Hall of the
City of Temple City at 9664 East Las Tunas Drive, Temple City,
California.
SECTION 6. The City Manager of the City of Temple City
shall cause to be posted conspicuously notices of easement vacation
along the line of the easement proposed to be vacated as herein
above described in Section 3, in accordance with Section 50441 of
the Government Code of the State of California.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Temple City, California, at a regular meeting thereof held this
11th day of June, 1962, by the following called vote:
AYES: Dickason, Fitzjohn, Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell

and that the foregoing Ordinance No. 62 -77 was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on May 28, 1962, and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on June 11,
1962, by the following roll call vote:
