MINUTES
July 9,1997
Attending: Rick VanNoy Max Williamson (not present)
Jeff Goodman (not present) Bill McMurray
Jeannie Campbell Harry Simpson
Minutes: Bill made a motion to approve the minutes of the June 11th meeting. Jeannie
2nd the motion and it carried unanimously.
New Business: Welcome New Mens Assoc. Member
The Committee welcomed Harry Simpson to the G.C.A.C. Harry said, thank you
and that he was looking forward to serving on the committee.
Committee Nomination of Chairperson
Rick wanted to nominate Max for the chairperson, but Max was not present.
Rick also mentioned that he was considering another project that could conflict with
being the chairperson. Bill motioned that Max be elected as chair, but decided to table it
until next meeting since Max was absent.
Old Business: Golf Day
It was decided that Rick, Jeannie, Harry, Bill, Mike and Carl would golf on
Thursday the 17th at 3:00. There will not be golf on the 24d' of July.
Additional Items: Bill went over the SMR proposal/request (attached).
* Jeannie made a motion to add to the Hotel accomidators package the SMR
proposal/request. Also offer SMR the same discount as the Hotel accomidators.
Harry 2nd the motion and it carried unanimously.
Staff Report:
Mike Combs said, that the irrigation project was going good and he was pleased
with quality of work that they were doing. He also mentioned that they would be
aerating the greens on Cedar in attempt to get water down into the soil profile further.
He amediately addressed Carts' concern about playability saying the sand would be
brushed in and the excess would be picked up.
Mike also mentioned that he was having trouble getting anyone to give bids on
the Air Conditioning system at the Club House. Rick said, he would look into getting a
couple of contractors out to look at it.
Mary Clemmer said, that everything was going pretty good so fart this year. She
mentioned the bev. Cart was doing real well and getting lots of compliments.
Carl Hoss said, business as been a little down but, over all was pretty good. He
was also concerned about the Air Conditioning.

Next meeting will be the 13th of Aug. at 7:00 PM
