AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF.A SPECIAL USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION AT THE CHURCH OF
JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS LOCATED ON RIDGE ROADI
SOUTH OF 127 TH STREET, PLAINFIELDI ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield Plan Commission h I as recommended that the
application for a special use permit to allow a. religious, institution for the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter -Day Saints be granted and has made certain findings based on the evidence
presented to it in said case that:
a. The special use will not be injurious to the Use and enjoyment of other property in
ially diminish
the immediate area for the purposes already permitted, nor substanti
property values within the neighborhood., and
b. The establishment of the special use will not impede the normal and orderly
development and improvements of the adjacent properties, for uses permitted n the
subject zoning district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL , AND KENDALL COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The President I and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield hereby
adopt and incorporate as their own, the above findings, made by the Plan Commission.
Section 2. . That the Pre sident and Board of Trustees of the Village of. Plainfield hereby
approve the application by the owner for a special use permit to allow, a religious institution
for the following tract of land to wit:
That Part Of The Southeast Quarter Of * The Northwest Quarter Of Section 36,
Township 37 North, Range 8, East Of The Third Principal Meridian, Described As
Follows- Beginning. At The Northeast Corner Of The Southeast Quarter Of The
Northwest Quarter Of Said Section 36; Thence. Southerly Along The East Line Of
Said Quarter, 550.0 Feet; Thence Westerly At An Angle Of 89 Degrees, 12 Minutes,
06 Seconds Measured Counterclockwise From -The Last Described Course, Parallel
With The NorthLine Of The Southeast Quarter Of The Northwest Quarter Of Said
Section 36, 396.0 Feet; Thence Northerly, At An.Angle Of 90 Degrees, 12 Minutes
06 Seconds Measured Counterclockwise From The Last Described Course, Parallel
With The East Line Of The Northwest Quarter Of Said Section 36, 550.0 Feet To
The North Line Of The Southeast Quarter Of The Northwest Quarter Of Said
Section 36, Thence Easterly, Along Said North Line, 396.0 Feet To The Point Of
Beginning, All In Oswego Township Kendall County, Illinois. PIN 03-136-� 1 100-003
Section -3. That said special use permit shall be subj'ectto the following stipulations:
1. �Compliance with the requirements of the Village Engineer.
2. Compliance with the provisions of the Oswego Fire Protection District.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. 3017.
This Ordinance shall be in full force andeffect from and after its passage and approval
as required by law.
