AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH MELILLO, BAUER, CARMAN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
CARTERET WATERFRONT MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized architectural services in
connection with the Carteret Waterfront Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, Melillo, Bauer, Carman Landscape Architecture, 200 Union Avenue,
Brielle, New Jersey 08730, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide
said services; and
WHEREAS, Melillo, Bauer, Carman Landscape Architecture, has submitted a proposal
to provide said services at a total cost not to exceed $25,000.00 and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Melillo, Bauer, Carman Landscape
Architecture for landscape architectural services with
regard to the Carteret Waterfront Master Plan at a total cost
not to exceed $25,000.00 is hereby approved. .
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(l)(a) in
accordance with the Borough's Fair and Open Process as
authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department, Borough Director of Engineering
and Melillo, Bauer, Carman Landscape Architecture.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 6, 2022.
