HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinance 2962ORDINANCE NO. 2962 CHAPTER 4 ARTICLE 2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD REGARDING CLASS "R" LIQUOR LICENSES NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES, AS FOLLOWS: Sec. 1: That Chapter 4, Article 2, Section 4-22 (1) of the Plainfield Code is hereby amended as follows: Class R: Class R license shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor in conjunction with the operation of a restaurant, as that term is defined in section 4-15 of this chapter, for consumption on the licensed premises. The sale of alcoholic liquors for consumption off the licensed premises is expressly prohibited, except the retail sale of commercially manufactured bottled wine registered with the state liquor commission, sealed in its original package with the seal unbroken, for consumption off the licensed premises where it is sold. The annual fee for a Class R license shall be One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). There shall be no more than one (1) Class R license issued at any one time. That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby amended. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as required by law. This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. 2962. PASSED THIS 1 ' DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2010.
