Kendall Counties, Illinois, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true and
correct copy of Ordinance No. 2909, designating the property commonly known as
23921 W. Lockport Street, Plainfield, IL PIN#06-03-15-100-004-0000 as a Historic
Landmark in the Village of Plainfield.

ORDINANCE NO. 2909::
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE STRUCTURE COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS
23921 W. LOCKPORT STREET AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK IN THE VILLAGE OF
PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That pursuant to Section 9-147(7) of Chapter 9 of the Plainfield Code, the
following findings of the Village of Plainfield Historic Preservation Commission were made
as to the structure described in paragraph II:
(a) Is identified with a person or persons who significantly contributed to the
development of the community, county, sate or nation;
(b) Embodies distinguishing characteristics of an architectural style valuable
for the study of a period, type, method of construction or use of indigenous materials;
(c) Embodies elements of design, detailing, materials or craftsmanship that
are of architectural significance;
(d) Is suitable for preservation or restoration;
11. The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield hereby
adopt the findings of the Plainfield Historic Preservation Commission and the structure
commonly known as 23921 W. Lockport Street is hereby designated as a Historic
Landmark, as to the real estate described hereto:
Lot 1 Except The South 55 Feet In Block 1 Of E. Corbin's Addition To
Plainfield, A Subdivision In The Northwest Quarter Of Section 15, Township
36 North Range 9 East Of The Third Principal Meridian, In Will County,
Illinois. Pin: 06-03-15-100-004-0000
111. This Ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage and approval as
provided by law.
