MICHELLE GIBAS, VILLAGE CLERK (SEAL) ORDINANCE NO. 3128 AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE STRUCTURE COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS 24010 W COMMERCIAL STREET AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK IN THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS. Now, Therefore, be in ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield, Will and Kendall Counties, Illinois as follows: 1. That pursuant to Section 9-147(7) of Chapter 9 of the Plainfield Code, the following findings of the Village of Plainfield Historic Preservation Commission were made as to the structure described in paragraph 11: a) Has character, interest, or value which is part of the development, heritage, or cultural character of the community, county, state or nation; b) Is suitable for preservation or restoration; c) Has yielded, or is likely to yield, information important to prehistory, history, or other areas of archaeological significance. The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield hereby adopt the findings of the Plainfield Historic Preservation Commission and the structure commonly known as 24010 W. Commercial Street is hereby designated as a Historic Landmark, as to the real estate described hereto: Lot 2 In Ingersoll & York Resubdivision, Being A Sub Of Outlot A In Plainfield Dental And All Of Lot 3 In Block 1 Of Schreffier's Addition To Plainfield In The Northeast Quarter Of Section 15, Township North, Range 9 East Of The Third Principal Meridian. PIN: 06-03-16-218-015-0000. This Ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage and approval as provided by law. Passed this 21st day of October, 2013.
