AN ORDINANCE VACATING OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY OF CEDAR DRIVE
EAST OF WHITE PINE WAY, PLAINFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield, after
due investigation and consideration, have determined that the nature and extent of the
public use and public interest in the public right-of-way of Cedar Drive, East of White
Pine Way, as described below warrant the vacation of said described street; and
WHEREAS, an ordinance of vacation shall be adopted by the affirmative vote of
at least three-quarters (3/4) of the trustees then holding office;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the tract of land bounded and described as below is hereby
vacated:
See Exhibit "Nwhich is attached hereto and made a part hereof
Section 2. The Village President and Village Clerk are herby authorized to
execute all documents necessary to effectuate the vacation herein contemplated.
Section 3. If Part Invalid. The' invalidity of any part or section hereof shall not
effect the validity of the remainder hereof.
