AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3 SECTION 3-145 REGARDING SERVICE
CHARGES FOR GARBAGE, REFUSE, SOLID WASTE AND LANDSCAPE WASTE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
THAT CHAPTER 3, SECTION 3-145 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLAINFIELD IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
Chapter 3 Section 3-145 Services Charges is hereby amended in its entirety to read as
follows:
Section 3-145 Services Charges
(a) The service charges
established as follows
for garbage, refuse, solid and landscape waste are hereby
(1) January 1 to December 1, 2012
January 1 to December 1, 2013
January 1 to December 1, 2014
January 1 to December 1, 2015
January 1 to December 1, 2016
January 1 to December 1, 2017
January 1 to December 1, 2018
January 1 to December 1, 2019
January 1 to December 1, 2020

(2) Paragraph (1) above shall also include an additional charge of two dollars
($2.00) per month to defray administrative costs incurred in providing the
service set forth in the article.
(b) Unpaid Fees or Liens. For any charges unpaid after thirty (30) days after the date
of the original bill there shall be added and become due a penalty of ten percent
(10%) of the amount of the original bill and in addition thereto, the sum of o ' ne per
centurn per month shall accrue on all outstanding charges. As additional penalties,
costs of preparation or filing of statement of delinquencies as set forth herein, shall
attach the account of the delinquent customer.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as
required by law.
