AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY GRANTING A CHANGE OF ZONE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN OLIVE
AND GREEN AND ARDEN AND GLICKMAN FROM A -1 -1
TO R -1 -500.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission of the City of
Temple City at its regular meeting held in the City Hall, 9664
East Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, California on February 19, 1962
after public hearing duly noticed, in Zone Case No. 62 -30, re-
commended to the City Council by duly adopted resolution that the
requested change of Zone from A -1 -1 to R -1 -5000 on the real prop-
erty, hereinafter described in Section 2, be granted.
SECTION 2. The real property, subject of Zone Case
No. 62 -30, the application of Jack Weber Development Company, a
corporation, is legally described as follows:
Those portions of Tract No. 10558 in the City of
Temple City, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as recorded in Book 178, Pages 4 and 5 of Maps, Re-
cords of said County; Tract No. 11699 as recorded in
Book 218, page 49 of Maps, Records of said County;
Lots 41 and 45 of E. J. Baldwin's Addition No. 1 to
Santa Anita Colony as recorded in Book 52, page 60 of
Miscellaneous Records, Records of said County and a
portion of Lots 6 and 22 of the Western 2/3 of Rancho
San Francisquito as recorded in Book 42, Pages 93 and
94 of Miscellaneous Records, Records of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Easterly
175.00 feet of Lot 31 of said Tract No. 10558; thence
Northerly along the Westerly line of said Easterly
175.00 feet and its Northerly prolongation to the
Northwest corner of the Easterly 175.00 feet of Lot 33
of said Tract No. 10558; thence Easterly along the
Northerly line of said Lot 33 to the Northeast corner
of said Lot 33; thence Northerly along the Easterly
line of Lot 34 to the Northeasterly corner of said

Avenue to the Westerly prolongation of the South-
erly line of Lot 31 of said Tract #10558; thence
Easterly along the Southerly, line of said Lot 31
and its westerly prolongation to the point of be-
ginning.
SECTION 3. That on the 14th day of May, 1962, at 7 :30 P,;,-1 M.
the City Council of the City of Temple City convened at this time
and place prescribed by valid legal notices earlier given pursuant
to Sections 9100 and 9103 of the Temple City Municipal Code, to hear
written protests, if any, to the application for change of Zone in
Zone Case No. 62.-30 of the Jack Weber Development Company to change
the zone of the real property hereinabove described in Section 2
from its existent Zone A -1 -1 to Zone R -1 -5000.
.SECTION 4. After due consideration the City Council express-
ly finds that there is good cause to change the Zone of the real
property legally described in Section 2 from A -1 -1 to R-1.5000 and
the City Council does hereby grant a change of Zone upon the Real
Property described in Section 2 herein from A -1 -1 to R -1 -5000.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
This ordinance is for the immediate preservation of,public peace,
health and safety, due to the fact that it concerns itself with
the immediate installation of sewer and street drainage facilities.
