AND P.FAY. OTHERS PRESENT: B.MURPHY, ADMINISTRATOR; J.HARVEY, ATTORNEY; M.GIBAS, VILLAGE CLERK; D.WOLD, ENGINEER; A.PERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; M.GARRIGAN, PLANNING SUPERVISOR; T.PLECKHAM, MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; AND J.KONOPEK, CHIEF OF POLICE. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, Trustee Bonuchi arrived at 7:02 p.m., all other Trustees were present at the time of roll call. Mayor Collins led the pledge to the flag. There were app roximately 30 persons in the audience. PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS None. TRUSTEES COMMENTS Trustee Fay commented on the Group Budget Exercise that was held by Senator Bill Foster. PUBLIC COMMENTS on items not on the Agenda (3 -5 minutes per topic) None. BUSINESS MEETING 1 ) APPROVAL OF AGENDA Trustee Peck moved to approve the Agenda. Second by Trustee Lamb . Vote by roll call. Lamb, yes; Peck, yes ; Racich, yes ; Rippy, yes ; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes . 6 yes, 0 no . Motion carried. 2) CONSENT AGENDA Trustee Fay moved to approve the Consent Agenda to include: a) Minutes of the Board Meeting held on October 21, 2013. b) Bills Paid and Bills Payable Reports for November 4, 2013. Second by Trustee Lamb . Vote by roll call. Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Rippy, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. 3) PLAINFIELD MOOSE PRESENTATION Mr. Mike Vaughn and Darla Bell gave a presentation regarding the Tommy Moose Program. Since 2002, over 100,000 Tommy Moose plush dolls have been donated to shelters, hospitals, and emergency workers, who in turn deliver them to children in need of some comfort when facing some of life’s biggest challenges. The Plainfield Moose Lodge #2491 presented Tommy Moose plush dolls and coloring books to the Chief of Police and will also donate to the Plainfield Fire Department. Second by Trustee Lamb . Vote by roll call. Lamb, ye s; Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Rippy, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, no . 5 yes, 1 no. Motion carried. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT Administrator Murphy stated that he has a conference with Standard & Poor’s regarding the Village’s bond rating. MANAGEMENT SERVICES REPORT No Report. ENGINEER’S REPORT Mr. Derek Wold presented the Engineer’s Progress Report . PLANNING DEPARTMENT REPORT The Village Board discussed a zoning interpretation to allow truck trailer parking as a temporary, accessory use in the I -1 zoning district at 14711 S. Naperville -Plainfield Road and 23820 W. Evans Street. It was the consensus of the Village Board that their in terpretation of the z oning code does not allow truck trailer parking in the I -1 zoning district. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REPORT No Report. PUBLIC WORKS REPORT Mr. Persons stated that he is happy with the progress of the library parking lot improvements and thanked everyone for their patience. POLICE CHIEF’S REPORT No Report. ATTORNEY’S REPORT No Report. Mayor Collins read the reminders. Trustee Fay reminded everyone there is a Public Hearing at the Romeoville Village Hall on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 regarding I -55 Improv ements. Trustee Fay moved to adjourn. Second by Trustee Lamb . Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 Opposed. The meeting adjourned at 7:19 p.m. Michelle Gibas, Village Clerk
