RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND
ENDORSING THE 36th YEAR - 2010 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Richland Hills shares in a cooperative agreement with Tarrant County for
essential Community Development Assistance Activities under Public Law 93-383, the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing for the purpose of identifying and discussing Community
Development Projects has been duly held by the Richland Hills City Council; and,
WHEREAS, after said public hearing and due consideration, the City Council determined that the
following project was eligible for funding under this Act, and approved the filing of application for said
funding:
REPLACE CURB AND GUTTER, DRIVEWAYS AND
INSTALL 2" ASPHALT OVERLAY, ADJUST SEWER
MANHOLES AND WATER VALVES TO GRADE IN
THE 3100 BLOCK OF DOGWOOD PARK AND THE
7100 BLOCK OF MAPLE PARK.
WHEREAS, it is understood that any funds not expended on the specifically approved projects
will revert to the Community Development Contingency Fund, and should any repayment of funds be
required by HUD due to ineligible or non-refundable projects, the City would be responsible for repayment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The said 36th Year-2010 Community Development Block Grant Program for the City of Richland
Hills be approved and endorsed.
PASSED AND APPROVED by City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, by a vote of
5 _ ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions, on this the 9th day of March. 2010.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
FOR
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
36t" YEAR-2010
March 9, 2010, 7:00 P.M., City Hall, 3200 Diana Dr.
The City of Richland Hills will hold a public hearing on March 9, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at City Hall, to
discuss and receive comments from the public concerning replacing curb and gutter, driveways
and installing 2" asphalt overlay in the 3100 block of Dogwood Park and the 7100 block of Maple
Park. This project is part of a Community Development Block Grant Program for the 36t" year.

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that this notice of public hearing was posted on the
bulletin board at City Hall of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, a place convenient and readily
accessible to the general public at all times, and said notice was posted on the following date and
time: March 1, 2010, 9:00 A.M.
and remained so posted continuously until the conclusion of the public hearing.
