AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY APPROVING RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING A CHANGE OF
ZONE FROM R -1 TO C -2 ON THE REAL PROPERTY LO-
CATED AT 6258, 6252 AND 6246 ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD,
AS REQUESTED IN CHANGE OF ZONE APPLICATION NO.
62 -34 OF MARTIN T. HEYDEL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Temple
Clty at its regular meeting held in the City Hall, 9664 East Las
Tunas Drive, Temple City, California, on May 21, 1962, at 7 :30
o'clock P. M. a duly constituted public hearing in regard to the
zone change request of Martin T. Heydel in Zone Case No. 62-34.
SECTION 2. After due consideration of the application
of Martin T. Heydel in Zone Case No. 62.34-the Planning Commission
recommended a change of zone from R -1 to C.2 on the subject real
property located at 6258, 6252 and 6246 Rosemead Boulevard, Temple
CIty, which real property is legally described as follows: The
north half of Lot 90 and the south half of Lot 90 of Tract 5904,
as per map recorded in Book 69, page 29. The north half of Lot
91 of Tract 5904, as per map recorded In Book 69, page 29 of Maps.
SECTION 3. That on the 25th day of June, 1962, at
7:30 P. M. the City Council of the City of Temple City convened
at the time and place prescribed by valid legal notices earlier
given pursuant to Chapter 6 of Los Angeles County Ordinance 1494
as adopted by Section 9100 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Temple City as amended by Section 9103 of said Municipal Code,
to hear written protests, if any, to change the zone of the real
property legally described in Section 2 hereof from zone R-1 to
C•2.
SECTION 4. After due consideration, the City Council
expressly finds that good zoning practice justifies a change of
zone of the property herelnabove legally described in Section 2
herein from zone R -1 to C-2 and the City Council does hereby grant
a change of zone of the said real property legally described In
Section 2 herein from zone R -1 to zone C-2.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 9th day of July, 1962.
