Carteret was called to order by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman at
approximately 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022, remotely, via
telephone call -in.
Upon individual roll call, the following were noted present:

Also noted present were Carmela Pogorzelski, Municipal Clerk and
Robert J. Bergen, Esq., Law Director.
The meeting was opened with a moment of silent prayer and the
Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Bellino.
Mayor Reiman asked everyone to remember the shooting victims in
Texas and in Buffalo, NY and to continue to pray for peace in
Ukrainian and for those Ukrainians fighting for their sovereignty and
existence.
The 2022 Annual Notice was emailed to The Home News Tribune,
The Star Ledger and posted on the bulletin board and on the doors of
the Memorial Municipal Building on January 11, 2022. Notice was
published in The Home News Tribune and The Star Ledger on January
14, 2022. All items being voted on tonight were posted on the
Borough's website, �n r rtc r ct.nei prior to tonight's meeting.
Upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Diaz and Bellino and unanimous
affirmative vote of the full membership present, the minutes of May 5,
2022 were approved as transcribed and engrossed by the Clerk.

ORDINANCE #22 -14 was introduced and adopted on First Reading
and the Clerk authorized and directed to advertise same for Public
Hearing, upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Diaz and Naples. Upon
individual roll call vote, Councilmembers Bellino, Diaz, DiMascio,
Johal and Naples voted in the affirmative.

ORDINANCE #22 -13 The Municipal Clerk stated that Ordinance #22 -13 was introduced and
AMENDING adopted on First Reading on May 5, 2022. It was duly published in the
ORDINANCE #71 -9 Home News Tribune on May 13, 2022, with notice that it will be
WHITE COLLAR considered for final passage after Public Hearing to be held on May
26, 2022 at approximately 6:00 p.m. The Ordinance was posted on the
bulletin board and copies were made available to the general public
and according to law, she read the Ordinance by title.
PUBLIC HEARING Upon MMS &C, by Councilmember Diaz and Bellino and unanimous
affirmative vote of the full membership present, Mayor Reiman
declared the Public Hearing to be open.
HEARING CLOSED There being no comments or objections to the Ordinance, Mayor
Reiman declared the Public Hearing to be closed, upon MMS &C, by
Councilmembers Diaz and Bellino and unanimous affirmative vote of
the full membership present.

unanimous affirmative vote of the full membership present, the & NEW BUSINESS

Upon MMS &C, by Councilmembers Diaz and Bellino and unanimous

Mayor Reiman said we received a proclamation from the police
department for Click -It or Ticket and reminded everyone it will be in
effect from May 23`d through June 5, 2022.

There being no further continents or discussion, upon MMS &C, by ADJOURNED
Councilmembers Diaz and DiMascio and unanimous affirmation of the
full membership present, the meeting was adjourned at approximately
6:04 p.m.

"Clerk's Note:
7.14.22 1 received an email from Matthew Zwingraf, CME Associates with
the following information and changed Resolution #22 -131 to reflect the
error. "I noticed a minor discrepancy in the contract amount that stemmed
from a typo in our bid report. It's listed as $918,888.95, but should be
$918,666.95."
