AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,785,000 PROVIDING
FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE BOROUGH
OF CARTERET, COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY
FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND AND OTHER
RESERVES AND GRANTS FOR THE COST THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Borough of Carteret, in the County of Middlesex, New
Jersey (the "Borough") hereby authorizes the 2022 Various
Capital Projects appropriates the amount of $2,785,000.00,
including $153,475.00 from Land Sale proceeds,
$1,060,771.11 NJEDA funds, $1,266,447.00 Developer
Funds, $304,306.89 Capital Fund Balance for Various
Capital Projects, including land acquisition and all related
costs and expenditures incidental thereto, and further
including all work and materials necessary therefor and
incidental thereto.
Section 2. The Borough hereby certifies that it has adopted a capital
budget or a temporary capital budget, as applicable. The
capital or temporary capital budget of the Borough is hereby
amended to conform with the provisions of this ordinance to
the extent of any inconsistency herewith. To the extent that
the proposes authorized herein are inconsistent with the
adopted capital or temporary capital budget, a revised capital
or temporary capital budget has been filed with the Division
of Local Government Services,
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect as provided by applicable
law.

Improvements In the Borough of Carteret.
The foregoing ordinance was Introduced at a meeting of the
Council of the Borough of Carteret held June 9, 2022 when It was
adopted on first reading. The said ordinance will be further
considered on second reading for final adoption at a meeting of
said Council of the Borough of Carteret on June 23, 2022
approximately 6:00 p.m. remotely, Information for the call In

time all persons Interested will be given an opportunity to be
heard.
