A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY
TO FINALIZE AND CLOSE THE PURCHASE OF THE REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 3272 DIANA DRIVE, RICHLAI~ID HILLS, TEXAS,
PURSUANT TO THE AGREEMENT PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Richland Hills is a home rule city acting under its charter adopted
by the electorate pursuant to Article XI, Section 5 of the Texas Constitution and Chapter 9 of the
Local Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City previously entered into a contract with the owner of the real property
located at 3272 Diana Drive, in the City of Richland Hills, more particularly described as:
The west 90 feet of the north 100.5 feet of Block B, Second Revised filing of the
Matthews Subdivision, and addition to the City of Richland Hills, Tarrant County,
Texas, according to plat recorded in Volume 388-Q, Page 331 of the Plat Records of
Tarrant County, Texas;
being that same property conveyed by David R. Ainslie in a warranty deed dated March 29, 2005 and
recorded in the real property records of Tarrant County, Texas as instrument number D205144429,
to David R. Ainslie, Trustee for the David R. Ainslie Living Trust, a trust created pursuant to an
instrument dated March 29, 2005, and recorded in the real property records of Tarrant County, Texas
as instrument number D205105365;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
AUTHORIZATION FOR ASSIGNMENT
The Mayor of the City, the Honorable Bill Agan, is hereby authorized to execute all
documents necessary to finalize and close on the purchase of the above referenced real property
pursuant to and consistent with the contract of the City and David Ramsey Ainslie, dated August 3,
2012, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
SECTION 2.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This Resolution shall be effective upon its adoption.
