CONFIRMATORY ORDER TO ACQUIRE
124 WATERTOWN STREET (PARKER SCHOOL)
ORDERED:
WHEREAS: The City Council voted on December 13, 2022 to acquire 124
Watertown Street, sometimes referred to as the Parker school„ in the City of
Watertown from Devi Realty Co., LLC, and further authorized the City Manager
to execute an Order of Taking for the property; and
WHEREAS: G. L. C 79 §3 requires that an Order of Taking be recorded within
thirty (30) days from its adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORERED: That the City Council confirms its vote
December 13, 2022 to acquire 124 Watertown Street by eminent domain;
AND, BE IT FURTHER ORDERED: That the City Council authorizes the
City Manager to execute and record the Order of Taking with the Middlesex
South District Registry of Deeds, and to execute such other documents and
instruments as may be necessary or appropriate to carry out the intent of this
Order.
