This area is a frequently conjested section of the McCall city corridor in the summer and winter seasons. The area adjacent to this location is made up of residential neighborhoods, school zones, restaurants, motels, and existing gas stations. The last thing McCall needs is another gas station in the McCall city corridor. The proposed location for a new Maverik C-store Gas Station isn't what North-bound travelers want to see as Payette Lake comes into view. The City of McCall should support a better use for this location. McCall residents have serious concerns about the impact of a large gas station in this space. Everything from 24/7 light pollution, increased traffic and effects on safety within our school zones and neighborhoods, the impact on already stressed city utilities like water and sewer, and the noise! Pedestrians in this part of McCall don't even have sidewalks! All these concerns are valid and cause longtime residents to consider moving out of McCall should Maverik be allowed to proceed. Don't trade McCall neighborhoods and the value of our downtown spaces for greedy corporate gas stations. PLEASE vote NO and force Maverik to find a more suitable location for their new C-store gas station. Downtown McCall is not the right place. Sincerely, Audrey Hopkins 202 Stibnite St. McCall, Idaho 83638
