Motion by James second by Nielsen to approve the Minutes of the December regular meeting and the December 15th special meeting. All ayes, carried. Motion by Lindaman second by Van Heiden to approve the Treasurer’s report for December. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nielsen second by Lindaman to approve the following bills for payment. All ayes, carried. Motion by Lindaman second by Van Hauen to approve Resolution 01-2006 a resolution authorizing a loan agreement with Peoples Savings Bank. Funds to be used to purchase a fire truck. Roll call of votes. All ayes, carried. Motion by James second by Lindaman to approve a 2.5 % pay raise for Leon Abels and Merrill Lindaman. Full-time employees will begin paying a 20% cost share of their insurance premiums beginning in October 2006. Their salaries will be increased 20% in October to cover the cost of the insurance. This will be a one time increase. A cafeteria plan will be offered to allow employees to deduct these funds pre-tax. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nielsen second by Van Heiden to approve a 3 % pay raise for Wendy Lage and approve 1 week paid vacation and administrative leave as necessary. All ayes, carried.
